This is a contingent position for a potential contract in Iraq
PHigh school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of actual and recent experience (With-in the last year) related to vehicle maintenance, such as Army 63B Series MOS or equivalent. Must know how to repair engine assemblies (gasoline and diesel), drive trains, fuel systems, suspension systems, emission systems, electrical systems and brake systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software is a plus.
Candidate must possess a valid US driver?s license and a good driving record.
Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Candidate must be able to pass a physical exam due to the harsh living and working conditions.
Must also pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
Job Description : Performs Field/Sustainment Maintenance and recovery operations on gasoline and diesel fueled light/heavy wheel vehicles as required. This individual may supervise field maintenance and recovery operations on heavy wheel vehicles and on material handling equipment. This position is responsible for maintaining vehicle systems including but not limited to the following: power assisted brake systems, suspension systems, power steering systems, crane/hoist/winch assemblies. Replaces major components, including engine, transmission, transfer case, differential, etc.
